Peach is a established lunch delivery business that started in June 2014 and serves thousands of customers in Western Washington, Boston and San Diego. Peach has a unique and compelling business model where both the customer and the restaurant win; by capitalizing on the availability and talent of local restaurants, we bring locally produced, high quality meals to our customers in office buildings.

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to maintain the accounting/finance functions at Peach (while also working in some capacity as an individual contributor). An ideal candidate will be an individual with breadth of experience in areas such as: general ledger accounting, AP/AR functions, and local tax compliance.

You will report directly to the CFO of the company.

Responsibilities:

• Managing the day-to-day functions of the accounting department
• Managing AR, AP, general ledger, payroll, and month end close
• Managing state and local compliance, such as city and state level B&O and use tax returns

Requirements:

• Accounting or finance major
• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Proficient in Word and Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Driven & a self-starter

Preferred:

• Experience with Quickbooks Online
• Proficient in SQL
• Startup experience

Salary: Depends on Exeperience, $55-$65k
