Blue Nile is looking for a Treasury Analyst to help shape the future of payments and automation. The position will own wire payment processing, approve finance requests for order adjustments, and perform other ad hoc special projects and analyses. The successful candidate will be a detail-oriented self-starter who possesses exceptional organizational and communication skills and has a passion for our business. This person will be supported by the Sr. Treasury Manager.
What you will you do:

  • Work with the AP and customer care teams to process payments to partners and refunds to customers
  • Review large value adjustments to customer's orders with the customer care team
  • Maintain wire templates for vendors in the banking portals
  • Analyze ways to reduce bank fees and automate payment processing with our partner banks
  • Strive to improve efficiencies and automation
  • Ad-hoc analyses on all things treasury related
  • Project support on cash management, insurance, operations, capital markets, and risk management


What you will bring:

  • BA or BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or related
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in treasury, finance, banking, audit or applicable industry
  • Ability to plan, prioritize and complete projects within deadlines
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Knowledge of general accounting, financial reporting, and GAAP concepts
  • Familiarity with financial reporting and data extraction
  • Knowledge of institutional banking and payment systems
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently to drive implementation of process improvements
