About the role .
We are seeking an experienced HR Specialist to join us in Global Snacking. This position will report directly to the Human Resource Business Partner, Business Functions (HRBP). The HR Specialist is responsible for providing HR support for Supply Chain, Portfolio & Marketing, Finance and our International team leveraging knowledge of local / regional / cultural nuances and handling unique language and time zone requirements. This role will partner closely with various regional teams and centers of excellence as well as with the Global Snacking team.
In addition to these main areas of support, HR Specialist plays a key role in supporting all HR activities, programs, and projects in support of our Winning Culture Strategy.
What you'll be doing.
  • Support manager and team members to ensure that they have the tools and resources required to do their jobs in the highest quality manner.
  • Support wellness activities and be a culture contributor.
  • Partner with regional Talent Acquisition as appropriate and scoped within the business to execute local employee recruitment efforts, such as maintaining job requisitions, running talent acquisition events, proactively sourcing candidates, and developing / maintaining the local candidate pool(s), and managing internal posting process.
  • Execute onboarding of new hires in collaboration with regional teams.
  • In line with legal requirements, process voluntary and involuntary separations for in-scope employees, mitigating any potential risks, managing in-scope life cycle processes and leaves of absences/accommodations to deploy employee wellness initiatives.
  • Employee Relations, including investigations and corrective actions.
  • Share insights and trends with key stakeholders to drive more effective / efficient HR customer service delivery.
  • Ensuring HR Operating Model is adhered to, and high level of employee self-service and HR Now adoption rates are maintained.
  • Plays a role in supporting business and HR activities, initiatives programs, and projects in support of our winning culture.

What you'll need to be successful.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 1-3 years of experience as a HR Generalist or related progressive HR experience
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field preferred
  • Professional Human Resources certification is considered an asset.

Compensation Package : $58,800.00 - $78,500.00 . CAD annually + Bonus Eligibility
The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience, skill set, education and training, and other organizational needs.
