How often do you get to transform the recruiting function at a company that makes leading-edge products for recruiters? How often does the head of recruiting play a strategic role in influencing their company's product and brand work?

As the head of the recruiting function for Textio, your position was built to have a significant impact!

This is a strategic and hands-on role in which you will have the opportunity to design, build, and execute our recruiting strategy. In this role, you will:

  • Define, build, and drive Textio’s hiring strategy, goals and practices, ensuring these align with our principles, hiring objectives, and DE&I commitments.
  • Create and implement diversity and inclusion programs, strategies, and initiatives to enable the Recruiting team and hiring managers to attract and recruit diverse talent.
  • Develop relationships with external organizations and partners (i.e., industry, non-profit, and community groups) that align with our strategic DE&I goals.
  • Partner with leaders to cultivate a hiring culture that reflects the principles of the organization, drives engagement, and champions belonging and inclusion for candidates.
  • Build experiences and processes that allow candidates to have an excellent experience interviewing at Textio.
  • Create and implement strategies for talent, including those related to Employer Brand and EVP.
  • Support internal partners in Product, Marketing, and Revenue to create content and assets that support business and sales objectives.
  • Serve as a public-facing representative for the company both with potential talent and external audiences.
  • Define the team’s metrics, reporting cadence and structure. Evaluate the impact and effectiveness of existing practice resources, tools, and programs.
  • Manage recruiting budgets, knowing how to strategically invest in programs, resources and tools.
  • Partner with the People team, hiring managers, and hiring teams to evolve and manage a new-hire onboarding program focused on creating a sense of belonging and accelerating time to impact all new hires.
  • Lead recruiting efforts for Director + roles within the organization.
  • Partner with the broader People team on various projects and initiatives.

We would love to hear from you if you:

  • Are passionate about creating a unique and memorable candidate experience with a strong focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Passionate about educating others and sharing knowledge about DEI and recruiting strategies.
  • Are known for being a thought leader and being able to find innovative ways to solve problems.
  • Have a strong leadership experience and a track record of growing members of your team and ensuring they meet or exceed performance expectations.
  • Have ample experience defining and implementing a recruiting strategy, including building effective diversity hiring strategies that enable and amplify our DEI efforts.
  • Have had success in creating an inclusive culture that builds trust between cross-functional teams.
  • Have built extensive networks focused on support hiring, employment brand, and objectives.
  • Comfortable being a public-facing representative for the company.
  • Know how to use data to tell a story, whether it be to define the team's success or to determine the efficacy of the program, tool, or product.
  • Have experience supporting both Technical and non-technical divisions, preferably in a SaaS company.
