We are currently hiring for an Employee Experience Coordinator. This role supports Lighter Capital’s People Operations function, enhancing employee experiences by creating an environment of appreciation, an environment of employee development and meaningful work. 

As the Employee Experience Coordinator, your primary pillars of focus will be: Recruiting Coordination, Onboarding, Benefit Administration, Workplace Enhancements (Facilities), Social Committee & Celebrations Management, Consciousness & Outreach Management + Summer Internship Program Management.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Owner of new hire process: engage with new hires and managers throughout the process to ensure a meaningful experience, continuously monitor and identify areas of increased engagement to enhance the total new hire experience.
  • Coordinate & schedule onsite interviews, as well as monitor process to identify areas of improvement and implement ideas to enhance candidate experience.
  • Create and maintain an attractive and welcoming work environment for everyone. Look for enhancements and implement new ideas for supplementing enhanced workspaces.
  • Benefits are important, and you being the go-to person that can explain our wonderful benefits to new employees and staff is necessary. Having you as an advisor and benefits expert is a must!
  • We celebrate our employees in a number of ways, and that isn’t going to stop! With that said this role does include a lot of planning and coordination for celebrating birthdays, anniversaries, babies, marriages…..you get the picture.

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • 3 years of proven progressive work experience, preferably in a startup or midsized company.
  • Proven ability to work with confidential information, and build trust amongst different work groups and peers.
  • Thrive in an environment of ambiguity and a world of competing priorities, with the ability to stay focused and complete projects within timelines and under pressure.
  • Ideally you’ve already begun your career in Human Resources, and if not you have taken steps that attest to your interest in this field.
