Mason is looking for a Head of Talent to lead the recruitment function fully, help own people-oriented initiatives and programs for the foreseeable future, and help Mason hire top talent while promoting diverse and inclusive hiring practices.
This is a unique opportunity to evolve a global, rapidly growing team that is building massively impactful products. This role will help develop multiple functions including hardware, software, operations, sales, and more.

What you’ll work on:
- Establish and drive the vision of Mason’s organizational and talent expansion. Identify organization needs, and create and implement an efficient talent acquisition strategy to improve recruitment and business performance.
- Execute on critical programs and processes to retain and identify top talent. Own and evolve onboarding, training, and hiring best practices. Plan and execute calibrations and reviews. Develop employee retention programs that align with our values and support inclusivity.
- Manage and implement initiatives to help our talent grow. Partner with our project manager on several initiatives including (but not limited to) internal movement, benchmarking, internal equity, career tracks, etc.
- Be a strategic partner for our leaders. Anticipate Mason’s future and work with senior executives to advise on recruiting tactics that will help to sustain the company’s success. This includes staying abreast of recruitment trends, market dynamics, and more. Lead workforce planning and resource forecasting alongside our leaders.
- Put our “Be Inclusive” value into action. Support our existing DEI programs as well as identify ways to scale our efforts across business groups. Develop and implement strategies to attract diverse candidates to all areas of the business.
- Coach and mentor a world-class team. Manage and grow a small but mighty recruiting team as well as own people-focused initiatives for the foreseeable future. Give your team the tools, leadership, and motivation to innovate and make decisions. Support and allocate resources for your team.
- Leverage data to make decisions and determine priorities. Align team priorities and deliverables to Mason’s overarching strategy and goals. Ensure the people team has a clear roadmap with goals and success metrics. Manage and deliver reporting on employee retention, performance, growth, and more.
What you bring to the table:
- 10+ years of experience in talent teams focused on tech or within tech companies.
- 5+ years of people leadership experience within talent teams.
- Experience leading or partnering closely with various HR functions.
- Sense of humor and unflappable calmness.
- Passion for analytics and demonstrated success in setting aggressive yet attainable goals.
Bonus points for:
- Recruitment leadership in tech and non-tech positions.
- Experience building and scaling teams in the APAC region
- Experience in both startups and larger tech companies.
- Led HR teams or performed an HR function (i.e. HRBP) in a previous role.
