The Role

You’ll have an opportunity to be the go-to person for assisting our company with our growing HR needs. This person will play a critical role in assisting in getting new policy and procedures off the ground. Additionally, this person will be responsible for leading audits to ensure that our record keeping is accurate and perfect. Recently, we have implemented a new HRIS and you will be assisting in getting it set-up and running.

Your Daily Adventures Will Include

  • Being the owner and subject matter expert of all HR systems, including ADP
  •  Answering all internal questions related to company policy, benefits (health, 401K, etc)
  • Handle all internal HR paperwork including internal promotions, transitions, and apprenticeships, and assist with new hire paperwork, including onboarding, offboarding and others
  • Produce and submit reports on general HR activity
  • Assist with payroll and adhoc HR projects
  • Responsible for organization and accuracy of company files such as employee files, Workers’ Comp files, etc
  • Assist with providing white glove service to employees, particularly as it relates to benefits
  • Assist the rest of the team in development of new projects and programs 

Basic Qualifications

  • 1-3 years experience working in an HR team
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Desire to continue your knowledge and experience in HR
  • Experience with a HRIS (we use ADP)
  • Strong proficiency with MS Office or Google Suite
  • Excellent time management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Attention to detail is a must!

Preferred Qualifications

  • HRCI/SHRM certification a plus
  • Experience with ADP a plus

Our Lower Queen Anne office is located along the beautiful Elliott Bay waterfront north of Belltown, near Myrtle Edwards Park.
