Quick overview:
The goal of this position is to operationalize the Human resources department. This person will ensure that the department is executing with excellence and efficiency with customer service in mind. The HR Generalist will project manage initiatives, govern internal data and process, and ensure systems are running flawlessly. The ideal candidate will be curious and a fast learner who will challenge the status quo and work with little or no guidance. We are looking for a detail-oriented planner with demonstrated ability to communicate and respond effectively and efficiently while maintaining flexibility and grace under pressure and aggressive timelines.
In this job you will:
- Internal HR Operations
o Creation and training of internal HR staff with “how to” videos and documentation
o Driving employee onboarding process procedures
o Processing employment verifications
o Processing employee background checks
o Processing employee visas
o Gathering and entering employee information
o Managing department staff meetings and offsites
o Manage department purchasing
o Execution of rewards and recognitions programs
o Creating, maintaining and driving internal HR processes
o Project management of internal HR projects
o Creating and maintaining HR analytics, reports and dashboards
o Execution of departmental budget
- HR Data Governance
o Maintaining employee files and documents
o Maintains accuracy and completeness of online employee personnel files
o Maintaining and communication of HR calendar
o Responsible for retention and archiving/purging of employment files in accordance with the company’s retention policy
o Updates and maintains the HR intranet pages
- Systems Management and Maintenance
o Configuration of HR systems
o Managing HR system access
o Creating, maintaining and updating workflows
We would love to speak with you if you have:
· 3+ years HR Generalist or HR Operations experience
· Solid understanding of HR processes
· Excellent interpersonal skills, problem solving, and ability to share information with teams without bias
· Service-oriented, “can do” approach. Flexible and proactive with changing needs. Exceptionally team-focused and an active contributor to a positive and innovative work environment
· Demonstrates the highest ethical standards, actively promotes trust, respect and integrity in all dealings both inside and outside the Company
· Be highly organized and able to handle a variety of duties with aggressive deadlines
· Flexible and capable of adapting to fast paced environment
· Have excellent oral and written communication skills
· Creative approach to challenges
· Demonstrated and proven advanced skills using Microsoft Office Suite tools (Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, Power point and Visio)
· Maintain strong interdepartmental communication through note taking and follow-up on action items with management
· Demonstrate initiative and promote collaboration across all groups
