The HR Generalist partners closely with HR Team and other critical stakeholders in Recruiting and Payroll to provide high-level support to our employees. As an HR Generalist you will play a critical role in making “HR stuff” easy and intuitive, driving efficiency and ensuring a great employee experience. In this role you will work in a fast-paced environment and deliver a wide variety of HR operational services to our global employees. You will manage one or more processes and will be operating them and driving continuous improvements. You will perform core work (solving for employee/candidate inquiries/issues, data management and reporting, data audits, benefits administration, etc.), solve problems for special cases, manage initiatives to improve existing services, and help rolling out new processes and programs.

This role requires a perceptive person who is capable of relating to individuals in all locations and at all levels within our organization. You will get a broad overview of HR processes and services at Auth0 and interact with stakeholders from different global teams. Great communication skills and a love for data and technology are a must for this role.

This role is based in our Bellevue HQ.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high quality HR operations services and take full accountability for operating reliably and at fast pace.
  • Provide counsel and support to employees and HRBP’s, solve their HR queries and ensure a great employee experience.
  • Partner with HRBPs, employees and managers to communicate various HR policies, guidelines and government regulations.
  • Partner with Payroll on new hires, employee pay changes, referral bonuses and benefits.
  • Provide benefits administration support. Review benefits with employees and process enrollment, cancellation or changes. Partner with benefits vendors to maintain the data and verify benefit billing accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with e-verify and employee background check requirements. Maintain all employee documentation as required by governing agencies and by our internal rules.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders to develop seamless operational processes to further HR operations guidelines and policies.
  • Collect and analyze process metrics. Use insights to scale existing processes for growing and/or changing user needs.
  • Document all your processes and train colleagues as needed.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree, 3+ yrs. of experience as an HR Generalist.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create positive first impressions and develop partnerships internally and externally.
  • Goal-oriented self-starter with demonstrated time management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent collaborator that thrives in a fast-paced/get things done environment.
  • Excellent people skills, ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships with all levels of the organization.
  • Experience in delivering HR operations services for distributed teams at tech-savvy organizations. Knowledge in employment laws.
  • Excellent interpersonal and strong communication skills
  • Outstanding problem-solving and critical thinking skills with strong detail orientation.
  • Proficient in using technology and tools (incl. HRIS) to deliver high-quality HR operations services.
  • Experience working with highly sensitive and confidential employee data.
