 As our HR Operations Specialist, you will play a hands-on role on the HR operations team focusing on administering the sale compensation plans on expected performance and working with partners to assure strong controls are in place around approval of plan changes and payment of sales incentives as well supporting company employees and managing employee data/changes. You will serve as a resource within our HR team for the sales compensation program and will assist in developing, maintaining, and delivering sales compensation program documentation, communication, and support.  This is your chance to build on areas of improvement which support HR and sales initiatives, data controls, drive positive user experience and engagement, help employees and deliver on organizational goals.

 

Key Responsibilities

Incentive Compensation

  • Works with the Director Compensation, Benefits & HR Operations to define and document Sales compensation Program and Plan changes, and work with Accounting to integrate changes into the Sales Incentive Management System. Supports the sales compensation plan structure definitions.
  • Produces individualized Employee Compensation Plans for new hires and position changes impacting pay and annual updates for all employees on sales incentive plans.
  • Works with Accounting to validate program change set-ups in the Sales Incentive Management System and test validity of system outputs.
  • Responsible for analyzing, reviewing and reporting out on procedural process improvements
  • Conduct operational assessments to identify risks and gaps and propose and report on systemic solutions.
  • Collaborate and communicate regularly with cross-functional teams to drive project execution/completion
  • Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.

 

HR Operations

  • Provides direct support to company employees, other HR groups and company management as part of the centralized HR Operations function to handle a variety of HR-related transactions.
    • Processes various documentation relating to human resource activities such as new hire onboarding, change of status, performance documentations, termination of employment, etc.
    • Inputs employee data in the HR system/database and/or documents activities as required.
  • Receives and responds to employee inquiries and questions concerning HR policies/programs.
  • Provides information, guidance and direction on HR programs, processes, and procedures to employees and managers.
  • Supports HR projects as needed.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2 - 3 years HR experience and/or involvement in incentive plan administration is desired.
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Office Products, including Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Proactive problem-solver – able to identify issues and gaps
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and leaders
  • Ability to meet tight timelines and prioritize competing demands
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions for a diverse group of internal customers
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new software/systems quickly
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members and management
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required
