As the HR & Recruiting Coordinator, you will be an important contributor to an HR team of 3 and will be responsible for tactical support for both the HR and Recruiting teams. In this role, expect to spend 50% of your time supporting HR and program administration & 50% on recruiting coordination activities. You will play an important part in building a strong employer brand for our company to ensure we attract, hire and retain top talent at DoubleDown!

What you should bring to the table
- BA, Human Resources, Business, or other related field
- 1+ years of experience in HR and Recruiting
- Experience working with HRIS & ATS, if you have experience with ADP & Jobvite, even better!
- Proficient in Microsoft Office & Google Product Suite
- Strong time management, organizational and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Must be proactive with strong initiative; comfortable working independently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interface with all levels of the organization
- Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service with internal and external contacts
- Competent in handling sensitive and confidential information
- Ability to handle periods of increased workload and deadlines, and be flexible as business needs change
Winning the jackpot
When fully trained, you will have increased your knowledge of HR Systems, recruiting processes and a host of other HR competencies. In this role, you will be the center of service to employees and HR team members, often being the first and last stop they make for help and directions. Placing your best bet - the responsibilities
People Operations:
- Responsible for the new employee onboarding process:
- Generates offer letters and new hire paperwork
- Coordinates with IT, Accounting, and hiring manager for new hire set-up
- Oversees system set up – ADP, DocuSign, background checks
- Leads all New Hire Programs – orientation, etc.
- Assists with internal HR and Recruiting communications
- Supports the engagement, wellness, and award programs
- Maintains electronic files, I-9s, compliance posters, internal HR & Recruiting webpages on Confluence and Google Drives
- Oversees employee surveys, HR reporting, payroll preparation and entry
- Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions, escalates issues appropriately
- Assists with the annual and quarterly performance review and goal process
- Works on other duties as required
Recruiting:
- Manages Applicant Tracking System (Jobvite):
- Opens and updates new requisitions
- Schedules interviews
- Ensures all job postings are up to date on multiple job boards
- Supports all external and internal recruiting efforts:
- Facilitates interview process
- Books travel for out of state candidates (as required)
- Provides office tours
- Schedules debrief meetings
- Coordinates recruiting events (onsite and offsite)
- Partners with Marketing on communication plans, building our employer brand, and maintaining our internal career website
- Works on other duties as required
