HRIS Analyst

We started this company by making a difference in our communities, right here in our own backyard. We are looking for HRIS Analyst to join our growing team at our South Lake Union office. The HRIS Analyst plans and directs the administration and maintenance of Human Resources Information Systems to support short- and long-range Human Resources goals. The analyst will ensure robust data reporting capabilities are enabled and provide top level system administration and user security across various employee-touching functions. The HRIS Analyst’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to: processing employee data, producing HR-related reports and ensuring compliance with relevant local, state, and national laws and regulations that relate to HR and benefits system matters.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operation and maintenance of Snap’s HR Information and Benefits Systems (i.e. ADP, Office 365, Slack, Discovery, Cigna, etc.)
- Serve as the primary employee contact for benefits and system-related information inquiries
- Process employee data such as: leaves, wages, working hours, and benefits administration
- Enroll new hires by: onboarding, creating user ID, and granting permissions across systems
- Process employee terminations and departures for employee-facing systems
- Collect necessary data for EEO-1 reporting
- Design manuals and document HRIS procedures
- Generate ad-hoc reports (for example, reports on turnover, hiring costs and benefits)
- Collaborate with our IT staff to perform regular tests and upgrades to our HRIS
- Train staff and new system users on new processes/functionality
- Assist in the review, testing and implementation of system upgrades or patches
- Provide department updates about employment regulations, industry trends, current practices, new developments, applicable laws, and employment legislation pertaining to all HR and benefits administration matters
- Research vendors and implement new integrations as needed
- Assists in the development and implementation of personnel system policies and procedures; prepare and maintain employee handbook and policies with respect to benefits and systems
- In collaboration with stakeholders, plan, develop, organize, implement and evaluate the organization’s human resources functions and annual goals
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Prior HR experience
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Flexible and able to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
- Positive, self-motivated, and self-driven individual
- Determined, eager to take initiative
