Job Description

What You Do: The Manager of Talent Acquisition will play a pivotal role in the next phase of growth at PayScale. You will build and lead a high-performing team that delivers results in a fast-growing and evolving environment. You will own programs and drive strategy, but you will also partner with leaders on complicated searches that are critical to PayScale's success. This role reports directly to our Chief People Officer who is passionate about recruiting and is a strong advocate for the team. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Lead a small team of high-performing recruiters that cover our entire range of functions including; engineering, revenue, marketing, G&A and exec. 
  • Recruit on senior level roles that are difficult and require market blueprints and passive searches. 
  • Drive the overall program strategy: diversity recruiting, employment brand, university recruiting, tools/technology, internal referral program, interview training, etc. 
  • Partner with Finance, HR, ExOps, IT and more to create consistent recruiting workflows that can handle recruiting at scale. 
  • Regularly report on key recruiting metrics and other data insights that measure the overall health of the recruiting function.

  • Recruiter: At your core, you are an outstanding recruiter. You have breadth across function/level/etc. and can fill any role. 
  • Leader: advocate for your team and always looking for ways to elevate them as well as preparing them for their future as recruiting leaders. 
  • Hyper-Growth: Shown success in driving recruiting strategies and results against bold hiring plans that are in constant flux. 
  • Advisor/Partner: You understand the business. You are constantly pivoting your strategies to ensure that you are aligned with the top priorities of PayScale. 
  • Diversity: Steadfast determination to build a recruiting process that mitigates bias and ensures that you vigorously assess each candidate based on their experience/qualifications. 
  • Analytics: You love data and use it to influence strategy and leadership. Your expertise in data enables your team to drive consistent results that we can rely on. 
  • Innovative: Always on the lookout for trends in technology/solutions while understanding how to create business cases that demonstrate actual return on investment.
