Job Description

Why is this role important at Infobip?

We’re looking for a Payroll Specialist as part of our Finance Team, who will be accountable for supporting our day-to-day transactions, including expenses and payroll.

Payroll Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the Finance Managers in making strategic company decisions. You will share the responsibility for driving the continuous success of Infobip. Tasks that you will work on will be operational and of high importance for Infobip. 


You know you are doing a good job when:

  • You provide general activities of calculation and control of salaries and contributions, calculation and control of various pay suspensions, deductions or bonuses
  • You ensure that all data required for payroll calculation and payroll processing is fully obtained within legal deadlines
  • You reconcile any differences or disagreements in regards to salaries
  • You manage and calculate taxes and deductions, gather information on hours worked for each employee, calculate the correct amount incorporating overtime, deductions, bonuses etc
  • You fully follow the legislation as well as internal processes and procedures related to the calculation and payment of salaries, bonuses and other payroll related documents
  • You issue statements and invoices and maintain records
  • You update paper and electronic payroll records by entering adjustments on pay rates, employee status changes etc.
  • You calculate unemployment and severance payments
  • You compile key operational payroll metrics & dashboards and prepare reports for upper management, finance department etc
  • You prepare periodic payroll reconciliation and submit reports to the Department Manager for review
  • You deal with complaints and questions regarding payroll from employees
  • You act as liaison with other departments, divisions, or organizations
  • You maintain current knowledge of payroll policies and procedures changes and updates
  • You provide cross-training, assistance and guidance to other unit employees in payroll accounting processes, department procedures, and regulatory standards governing the work

Qualifications

More about you:

  • You possess higher educational background / Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration, or equivalent
  • You have at least 5 years of experience in payroll and finance administration under your belt
  • You are fluent in English
  • You are proficient in MS Office, especially in Excel
  • You have great understanding of the concept of confidentiality

Our company is in the Lower Queen Anne area with a beautiful view of Elliott Bay. The office is a short distance to a variety of restaurants/shops.
