We value diversity in all dimensions and are always looking for talented people to join our team!OverviewOctoML is looking for a People Coordinator who will work closely with the People Ops team to help support our growth, policy, culture, and strategy. You will play a key role in coordinating employee onboarding, talent management, performance management, benefits administration, compensation, and career development across OctoML.As a People Coordinator, you will:

• Provide administrative support throughout the employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding; is responsible for accurate processing of HR transactions and reporting.
• Identify opportunities and assess improvements to the employee experience and partner with the People Ops team to develop and implement lasting solutions.
• Represent OctoML's People Ops team as the main respondent to inbound HR-related inquiries.
• Help manage HRIS systems to maintain accurate, compliant employee records.

Our ideal candidate will have:

• 2+ years experience in an HR-related role. Start-up experience preferred.
• Experience working with a global, remote workforce.
• Strong onboarding experience.
• Familiarity with Human Resource Information Systems (we use Rippling).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience managing confidential information.
• Ability to proactively keep a pulse on HR compliance requirements and administer necessary updates.
