About the Role
The Talent group at Knock is a new and growing team, so this is an exciting opportunity to join as the first dedicated Recruiter. Our team in 2019 has already doubled in size and we are continuing to add more roles across the org for continued growth into 2020. This person will partner with leadership to determine where the hiring priorities are among the various teams. You will be responsible for identifying, qualifying and coordinating all talent opportunities, except for leadership positions (leads, directors and executives). This position will report directly to the Director of Talent & HR.
Responsibilities
- Full life-cycle recruiting: identify, source, qualify, interview, coordinate, close and on-board talent
- Identify events to attend to draw attention to Knock, specifically the engineering organization
- Partner with the hiring managers to come up with creative ways to attract new talent to Knock
- Represent Knock in a meaningful and positive way internally and externally
- Support HR in the retention efforts
Required Background, Experience and Skills
- 2-5 years experience in recruiting
- 1+ years experience in technical recruiting
- Proven success in outbound/sourcing recruiting efforts
- Proficient with applicant tracking systems (ATS); Lever is a plus
- Master of G-suite tools: Gmail, Calendar, Drive
- Proficient with outside recruiting tools such as, but not limited to, LinkedIn Recruiter, AngelList, Vettery, Stack Overflow, or Glassdoor
- Excellent communication skills
- Willingness to work hard and get the job done
