The Role

 

The Recruiting Coordinator role at Outreach is a critical position that helps set the tone for the experience that we deliver to candidates and across our business. As a Recruiting Coordinator at Outreach, you’ll be an integral partner in driving recruiting workflows, building effective partnerships and participating in continuous improvement activities as we constantly evolve and optimize our operations. You’ll be responsible for creating an exceptional experience for every candidate and internal stakeholder who interacts with the Talent Acquisition team. 

Your Daily Adventures Will Include

  • Partnering with recruiters, hiring teams and cross-functional partners to orchestrate recruiting activities
  • Work directly with candidates to schedule interviews and phone screens 
  • Arrange travel for visiting candidates 
  • Update candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) 
  • Coordinate internal debrief meetings 
  • Communicate updates as necessary to candidates at all stages
  • Update the daily onsite interview schedule and share internally with stakeholders
  • Ensure the Seattle office is presentable for onsite interviews
  • Greet candidates who are arriving for onsite interviews and monitor interviews throughout the day
  • Seek opportunities to enhance both candidate experience and workflow efficiency
  • Provide support as needed for recruiting events and employer branding efforts
  • Take ownership on other projects as required to support Recruiting Team initiatives
  • Other ad-hoc administrative responsibilities as required

Basic Qualifications

  • 1+ years of recruiting coordinator or other coordination experience 
  • BA/BS degree, ideally in human resources, psychology, business or another related field of study
  • Ability to understand and adapt to rapidly changing priorities and environments
  • Possess a candidate-oriented mindset, seeking creative ways to make candidates feel valued
  • Excellent written and oral communication with the ability to interact effectively and professionally with internal customers and candidates 
  • Superb attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective time management skills 
  • Action-oriented with a drive to take initiative to solve problems
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
  • Integrity in handling confidential and sensitive information

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with Lever, our ATS 
  • Experience with Google Apps (Mail, Calendar, Docs, etc.), Confluence, and Asana
  • Experience and interest in optimizing processes and increasing efficiency

Location

Our Lower Queen Anne office is located along the beautiful Elliott Bay waterfront north of Belltown, near Myrtle Edwards Park.
