Due to COVID-19, Knock is currently operating as a remote company and all interviews will be conducted over phone or Zoom video calls. We plan to return to an office setting eventually, but that timeline has yet to be determined. When we do re-open our office, we will do so in a manner that is safe and comfortable for our employees and partners. We will continue to be remote-friendly for most employees and have opened up most of our positions to be either Seattle-based, hybrid office/work from home, or completely remote. It is also important to note that we are only able to hire employees who are eligible to work and are based in the US.

The Role

Do you get a kick out of solving a 5,000 piece jigsaw puzzle? Are you looking for a job that will allow your drive and ambition to shine? Then the Recruiting Coordinator at Knock is the position for you! As a business partner, you will be managing recruiting activities and delivering an impeccable candidate experience! This will be a (mostly) office-based position at our company HQ in Seattle.

The Team

The People Operations team includes Recruiting, HR, IT and Office Admin. Our goals are around making employees and potential employees' lives easier. We are a small, but efficient team, and take pride in the customer experience we give to each individual.

You'll be known as the...

  • Calendar Guru: You will schedule (and reschedule) all the things!
  • Organizer Extraordinaire: You will keep everyone on the same page with what’s coming next. This will include managing what jobs are live and where they are posted, who is part of an interview panel and that they are aligned on expectations, and so much more.
  • Communications Expert: Your writing skills are hopefully better than this job description and you will keep track of and update templates for consistent communication with candidates. You will be communicating with all levels of people, so making sure that emails are professional and grab the attention of the reader.
  • Welcome Party: At some point we’ll be hosting interviews on-site again so you’ll be responsible for greeting candidates and owning their on-site experience.
  • Brand Ambassador: Make sure the messaging of our employer brand is consistent on all channels. If we host or participate in a recruiting event, you will be there every step of the way. There will also need to be some partnership with the marketing team on certain occasions.
  • Data Hygienist: You will make sure that all information in our Applicant Tracking System is clean and current. You’ll be able to create and run reports. BONUS if you can analyze and offer feedback.

You'll shine in the role if...

  • You are tech savvy! We use G-suite and MacBooks so if you have used both this will be a plus! We are a tech company after all, so we are always evaluating and adding new systems to make us more efficient.
  • You are ambitious! We don’t expect you to want to be in this position forever (or if you do that’s ok too!) Ask questions, learn other parts of the team, make a difference and be ready for growth opportunities.
  • You are adaptable! Things change fast… be ready to roll with the punches.
  • You have a sense of urgency! They say in sales that time kills deals, well the same goes for recruiting. Time is of the essence, so move quickly with purpose and precision.
  • You have a positive attitude! Enough said.
  • You have at least 6 months experience in a recruiting coordinator, admin, or support-type position.
  • BONUS!!! You have experience with Lever or similar ATS

Why You'll Love It Here!

  • You'll join a category-creating company that has enthusiastic customers, an ambitious roadmap, and industry leading products.
  • You are comfortable taking risks and thinking outside the box.
  • Being part of a great team with solid infrastructure in place.
  • You want an opportunity to win, drive change and be in an environment that will optimize for your success.
  • You embrace our set of core values - determination, excellence, trust, and community.
  • Competitive cash and equity compensation.
  • 100% medical, dental, and vision coverage for full-time employees. Partial family coverage optional.
  • Flexible time off & paid holidays.
  • Parental leave program.
  • 401k to help you save for the future + company match program!
  • Learning & Development assistance.
  • We like to do fun things together (Virtual for now!) such as conferences, off site retreats, and happy hours.

About Knock

We started Knock to solve problems we faced ourselves. One of those problems was that the process for renting an apartment hadn’t evolved at the same pace as technology. Our mission was to improve the experience for both apartment renters and managers.

We’ve developed an industry-defining SaaS platform, an intelligent front office platform providing the productivity and business intelligence tools needed to maximize occupancy, rent growth, and customer satisfaction at every community. Our customers trust us to deliver the consumer experiences and business applications that are essential to their bottom line. The proof is in our 10x revenue growth over the past two years, in addition to our numerous industry awards.

In February 2021 we raised an additional $20 million in a growth funding round led by Fifth Wall, the largest venture capital firm focused on the global real estate industry and the clear leader in PropTech investing. This investment, our largest fundraise to date, will be invested directly into further innovation on behalf of the awesome #multifamily industry: http://bit.ly/knock-5thwall
