The Role
As Senior Recruiting Project Manager for Discovery’s Direct-to-Consumer organization your role will be to drive action and results. In this influential role you will drive multiple, simultaneous recruiting centered initiatives across all global DTC lines of business and products. This will include working with senior leaders across these businesses and Product groups, as well as Recruiting partners, People and Culture partners, compensation and benefits, (among other) to drive initiatives that enable delivery on our goals as we continue to grow, scale and refine our recruiting function and hiring processes.
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate strong project management skills and analytical capabilities and be able to influence by providing data-driven recommendations. You’ll need to be flexible and adapt quickly to changes in direction as well as effectively manage conflicting priorities.
This role will preferably be based in Bellevue, Washington with option to be based in New York City.
Responsibilities
1. Intimately understand and stay current with the recruiting priorities of the businesses and align work and prioritize accordingly.
2. Drive projects from inception to close, quickly working through obstacles and gaining support from various stakeholders along the way.
3. Create, drive and present action plans for various programs
4. Review and analyze data to identify trends and recommend solutions to improve recruiting efforts.
5. Analyze end to end recruitment process to understand challenges and opportunities within the recruiting funnel and partner with recruiting team, People & Culture and the business to implement appropriate mechanisms.
6. Partner and collaborate with cross functional teams, including the Recruiting Managers, recruiters, sourcers, People and culture, business leaders and hiring managers our analytics team, to leverage existing information and share best practices.
Requirements
* 5+ years of experience in project management capacity, ideally within an HR or Recruiting organization but open to strong PMs from other backgrounds.
* Ability to influence and solicit help without authority, think proactively, drive others towards consensus, and function independently.
* Experience managing large and small cross-team programs/projects
* Ability to develop quick turn-around, practical recommendations based on data and research to inform strategic decisions in a fast-moving environment.
* Strong analytics skills.
* Excellent Excel skills, and experience with other analytics tools.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
