Who You Are:
- Responsible for managing a small team and partnering with the business to develop and implement creative, proactive and effective recruiting and workforce planning strategies to meet short and long term recruitment needs within Technology and Product. Are you someone who has concentrated on active and passive candidate generation for exempt, individual contributor and managerial contributor positions across multiple functional groups or business units? As an overall consultative technology staffing function expert, you will support and enjoy building long-term working relationships at every level of the organization. Reporting to the Director of Recruiting you will act as a trusted partner to the Technology and Product leadership team you will seek to provide talent solutions to daily business problems. With an understanding and adoption of Getty Images big picture, you will understand how your work fits into our goals and strategy. Your Next Challenge:
- Partner closely with key Leadership and Hiring Managers across Tech and Product to strategically approach and then implement mid-to-senior level Tech hiring across the United States and Canada (mainly Seattle, Calgary, Toronto, NYC and Madison).
- Drive positive candidate engagement and excellent candidate experience, driving them to view Getty Images as a best place to work!
- Be a mentor to anyone with recruiting responsibilities.
- Build and lead special staffing projects and initiatives that affect a function or the enterprise.
- Assess, recommend and negotiate new and existing vendors and systems.
- Work with HR Business Partners and department leaders to understand strategic business objectives to help develop strategies to meet current and future staffing needs.
- Evangelise our Employee Value Proposition to the industry and take part in events to increase and highlight our Employer Branding.
- Apply in-depth understanding of the business environment, industry strategies, organizational structures and compensation practices in order to construct business cases for proposed solutions.
- Build and be responsible for new passive recruitment strategies to ensure that Getty Images continues to attract and retain high-quality diverse groups of talent.
- Identify, develop and implement effective passive sourcing options.
- Work with hiring managers to build and implement creative, data driven, proactive and effective recruiting strategies; this includes competitive intelligence, researched-based candidate pipeline development and proactive network generation.
- Partner with a diverse set of customers across a broad set of responsibilities to identify position requirements and key proficiencies to ensure candidates meet the key position requirements to deliver business results.
- Manage the entire recruiting life-cycle including: sourcing and interacting with candidates, managing the internal interviewing process, conducting reference checks, closing candidates and maintaining recruitment metrics across multiple locations and geographies.
- Support Getty Images "employer of choice" position and facilitate a customer focused candidate recruiting experience for all candidates.
What You’ll Need:
- Relevant and/or management experience in this field.
- Prior experience working with recruitment software and reporting.
- A track record of gaining trust and respect from the business by consistently demonstrating confidentiality, sound critical thinking skills and placing the highest level of value on the internal and external customer.
- Can demonstrate a keen understanding of business strategy and the functional areas that contribute to the strategic objectives; uses this knowledge when developing and delivering recruitment strategy.
- Has a solid sense of teamwork and cross functional collaborative abilities, as well as balancing the need to work independently to drive individual results.
- Has the ability to work with internal partners and candidates at all levels and influence appropriately.
- Is able to act consultatively and negotiate at each level.
- Has a strong communication, account management and customer-focused skill set.
- Ability to educate and evangelize recruiting best practices, including Diversity recruiting with Hiring Mangers to prioritize recruitment needs.
