What we want you to do:

Apply working knowledge of compensation principles and methods to:

• Understand Apptio’s roles and compensation structure. Evaluate new and existing roles for proper placement in the level structure.
• Submit and maintain salary survey data for use in job and compensation analysis. Ensure proper alignment of Apptio roles to survey roles for accurate benchmarking. 
• Evaluate roles across Apptio markets to determine competitive market position in support of offers to new hires, promotions/transfers, annual merit cycle. Partner with recruiting and HR Business Partners on compensation proposals.
• Conduct ad-hoc compensation analysis, and support compensation projects.
• Support the annual performance review process and quarterly and annual bonus payment cycles.
• Learn the Workday system with regards to the compensation infrastructure, creating reports and partnering with HR Ops in configuring compensation setup
• Help develop and document our compensation structure, processes and programs and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or relevant experience.
• Minimum of three (3) years working compensation experience required.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong knowledge of Word and PowerPoint.
• Ability to exercise professional judgment in dealing with sensitive employee data.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or Compensation Management Specialist (CMS) preferred.
• Experience in technology industry is preferred
• Workday experience a plus
