Quick overview: 

The goal of an HR Business Partner is to increase employee effectiveness and engagement by partnering with the HR Center of Excellence, the manager and the employee. The HRBP will meet regularly and work closely with assigned managers and employees to measure engagement and effectiveness and implement creative solutions in order to drive higher results. With other HRBPs, this position will help to identify multi-employee/organizational issues or gaps, provide solutions and solve them before they occur. Our HRBPs are the front line to organizational improvement that results in more engaged, happier and effective employees.

In this job you will:

Employee Coaching and Relations

  • Onboarding employees by introducing them to the company
  • Provide concierge services by fulfilling employee requests regarding employee development and HR services
  • Helping employees utilize company services and benefits
  • Communicate HR related information to employees
  • Coach employees on communication and confidence
  • Create a positive employee experience through continuous engagement throughout their lifecycle with the company
  • Increase employee engagement
  • Foster a culture of positive gossip
  • Drive employee recognition
  • Maintain a low employee attrition

Manager Effectiveness

  • Fulfill manager requests regarding human capital changes in addition to development
  • Communicate HR related information to managers
  • Partner with managers to create a human capital strategy for their team
  • Train and coach managers on performance management
  • Train managers to become effective leaders
  • Coach managers to drive employee effectiveness through engagement

Organizational Effectiveness

  • Work with other HRBPs to identify patterns and solve organization issues
  • Work with Talent Acquisition team to hire the right candidates
  • Work with the Total Rewards team on pay competitiveness
  • Creation of company-wide policies, guidelines, programs and/or rewards
  • Maintain and govern employee data within HR systems to ensure accuracy

  • Service oriented mindset resulting in a “customer first” mentality
  • 7+ years of HR Business Partner experience, 3+ years’ HR generalist experience
  • Knowledge of employment laws in the US, UK and EU.
