Job Description
Our Global Talent Development team is focused on learning, development, and performance through the design and execution of people-centered talent programs and processes across the employee lifecycle. We enable all our people to grow, develop, and live their best lives in a diverse and inclusive environment, working alongside the most innovative colleagues in the world.
Our team is responsible for building the architecture, plan and consulting for end-to-end talent management processes designed to support our businesses as they define and execute their talent strategies. This includes our performance assessment processes and how they connect to our development and growth strategies.

The Senior Manager, Talent and Retention will focus on the career development and retention of emerging and established leaders at ServiceNow. You will work alongside our Performance Development, Learning and Development, and HR Business Partner teams on strategies for the identification of top talent and initiatives to align performance development needs with relevant, tailored learning, development and career opportunities. You will also help to develop a transparent career pathing strategy, including clarity on how performance is assessed (both against desired skills and capabilities, and against leadership expectations), and clear, actionable guidance on progression steps. The Senior Manager, Talent and Retention, will also build specific retention strategies for under-represented groups across the company.
This position will report to the Senior Director of Talent Strategy and Retention.

Flexible employees may choose to work the remaining working time from their workplace location or home. Flexible employees are required to work within their state, province, region, or country of employment.
Remote
A remote work persona is defined as an employee who performs their responsibilities exclusively outside of a ServiceNow workplace and is not contracted or aligned to a ServiceNow-affiliated office, including those whose place of work (pursuant to their terms and conditions of employment) is their home. Remote employees are required to work within their state, province, region, or country of employment.

- Design and deliver impactful executive development programs and experiences that effectively translate developmental concepts and practices into direct and specific learning plans for leaders
- Provide thought leadership on impactful, best-in-class methods to develop executives and emerging leaders
- Partner with our HR Business Partner community and external partners to deliver global and impactful development programs for our leaders
- Use data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of programs and drive continuous improvement of our leadership portfolio
- Keep current on new learning approaches, technologies and tools through research and networking to ensure our solutions are innovative

To be successful in this role you have:
- 8+ years of experience in leadership development, performance management, or talent strategy
- Experience in collaborating with or consulting to senior-level leaders
- Passion for developing executives and emerging leaders
- Creative and innovative thinker, able to generate ideas and impactful outcomes
- Results-oriented and self-directed in a fast-paced, high growth environment
- Experience with vertical development/adult development
- Well-developed program management skills
- Experience utilizing qualitative and quantitative data to improve programs
- Experience with learning tools and technologies preferred
- Global experience preferred
