This role allows you to work from anywhere you choose across the U.S. (excluding U.S. territories), with the flexibility to work from the Seattle HQ office as often as you’d like. Please note that no matter where you are located, all employees should be available during our core working hours from 10 am to 4 pm PT Monday through Friday.

 

Your role and impact

 

Engineering Talent Acquisition is critical to the success and strategy of 98point6, and as our head of Technical TA, you will partner with Engineering leadership to build and execute against a long-term hiring strategy. In this role you will lead a growing team of excellent technical recruiters to achieve hiring goals and objectives in support of our Engineering growth. A successful leader of this team will build strong business partnerships and foster a collaborative team environment that celebrates team and individual wins.

 

Responsibilities

  • Build, engage, lead and develop a team of high-performing technical recruiters in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment
  • Set team performance productivity goals and metrics, timelines and formal tracking processes to measure and manage progress
  • Partner with Engineering leadership to understand company growth and manage headcount planning for the Technical Talent team accordingly
  • Provide insight and guidance to company leadership around strategic hiring plans and organizational structure
  • Lead cross-functional projects and initiatives related to talent acquisition
  • Lead full cycle recruiting efforts, including sourcing top talent, leading interviews and managing the offer process
  • Coach recruiters to train and develop hiring managers and interviewing teams to relentlessly improve their talent acquisition skills
  • Partner with business leaders, hiring managers and recruiters to develop and drive the internal talent engagement strategy

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of recruiting experience
  • 2+ years experience building, coaching and performance managing a recruiting team
  • 2+ years experience building deep partnerships with Senior Leadership
  • 3+ years experience developing recruiting hiring plans and building data driven recruiting reports
