With that, Heptio is seeking a Senior Recruiter who will focus primarily on Sales, Marketing, Finance and other non-tech related roles and partner directly with hiring managers and executives to build teams from the ground up and be the champion for the ideas and values that Heptio is built upon. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING…

  • Full cycle recruitment to build out Heptio’s sales and operations teams including but not limited to: sourcing, role discussion, interview process management, offer negotiation, offer extension
  • Partner with hiring managers and executives to refine recruitment processes, scope and define roles and sourcing strategies
  • Maintain Lever, our Applicant Tracking System, to ensure data integrity and build out transparent reporting on recruitment activity
  • Be the gatekeeper of our culture and the champion for the ideas and values that Heptio is built upon; kind directness, radical transparency, blameless retrospectives, and building an inclusive and diverse environment
  • Participate in special projects and initiatives that will ultimately move the needle specific to diversity and inclusion, interview skills training, recruiting road shows and other employment branding efforts and events

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS…

  • Have a track record of engaging and hiring top technical talent
  • 5+ years recruiting in a fast-paced technology driven environment
  • Experience creating creative and fresh approaches to sourcing the best talent
  • Experience with complex commission structures and ability to negotiate these structures effectively with enterprise sales candidates
  • Managed salary negotiations and close candidates independently
  • Ability to navigate in a highly ambiguous environment to move the needle
