About the Position

This position is responsible for managing the recruitment of all roles that Assurance hires into its core headquarters, which includes departments like: software engineering, data science, G&A, marketing, and more. You will lead and grow a team of technical and business recruiters, partnering with business leaders across the organization to create and execute innovative recruiting strategies. This person reports to our Head of Talent and Culture. The ideal candidate should be passionate about candidate experience and committed to developing talent.

Responsibilities

• Build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and be recognized as a trusted advisor in all recruitment matters
• Lead a team of full-cycle recruiters to deliver excellent performance, develop their recruiting expertise, and facilitate their comprehensive professional development
• Partner with business leaders and HR Managers to set hiring goals, processes, and metrics.
• Develop innovative ways to meet Assurance’s constantly expanding and evolving recruiting needs.
• Work with People Operations team to define recruiter pipeline metrics, enhance tooling, and inform strategic decision making
• Contribute to the develop and execution of a clear diversity strategy
• Partner with leaders across the organization to develop and execute talent strategies
• Effectively allocate recruiter capacity

Qualifications

• 8+ years of total recruiting experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment (previous experience with tech startups is a plus)
• 3+ years of experience managing full-cycle recruiters
• Demonstrated passion for the craft of people management
• Experience designing and executing creative recruiting strategies and programs that scale
• Experience sourcing and closing candidates across a diverse range of profiles and functional areas
• Experience partnering with hiring teams throughout the recruiting process, acting as a trusted and effective hiring partner
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an appropriate blend of professionalism and friendliness
• A data-driven yet pragmatic approach to problem-solving; you look at a variety of different data sources (candidate feedback, reports, recruitment metrics) and use them to inform the strategy that you set across the recruiting team
• A growth mindset and a passion for agility. You can shift tasks and priorities when circumstances change (at a fast-growing company, they often do)
