About The Team

The People Operations team at Subsplash is all about attracting, growing, and retaining top talent. We are responsible for the entire employee experience including recruiting, HR, payroll,  leadership development, office management, company culture, and corporate events. About the Role

As a Sr. Talent Acquisition Manager,  you will report to the VP of People Operations.   You will lead the talent acquisition practice and will drive the strategy that will help Subsplash continue to grow. A primary focus of yours will be creating a world-class candidate experience full of delight and relational warmth that leads to candidates being promoters of Subsplash even if they don’t get the job.  This position is our gateway for all people joining our company and is critical in creating a highly engaged workforce.  This is a highly visible role that influences the overall People strategy of the company and interfaces with the senior leadership team. The successful Sr. Talent Acquisition Manager demonstrates the ability to comprehend and promote Subsplash as a platform and as an employer, manage the full-cycle recruiting process, understand the labor market for the target positions, create a high-touch candidate experience, and recruit team members who are compatible with Subsplash’s culture.  

Your Priorities 

  • Lead and manage the Talent Acquisition team and ensure effective allocation of work to support business resourcing needs in an extremely fast-paced and ambiguous environment
  • Coach other members of the recruiting team through challenges, continuously enabling them to drive for excellence and inspire them to reach their full potential
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our business, the market, our competition and emerging trends within the TA industry
  • Develop and manage staffing plans with key stakeholders in the business
  • Own, manage and drive the full life-cycle recruiting process from sourcing strategy to offer acceptance
  • Assess and report on candidate pipeline for roles to monitor performance and effectiveness of team
  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive recruiting strategies that will guarantee that the business attracts and hires the top talent in the business.
  • Oversee relationships with staffing and temp agencies, including the negotiation of contract terms, communication of hiring needs and invoice processing.
  • Partner with hiring managers to identify recruitment strategy, key requirements, edit job descriptions, and create project plans for each role.
  • Design and deliver hiring manager and interviewer training that incorporates research-based best practice 
  • Ensure compliance with EEO requirements and assist with the development and implementation of diversity initiatives
  • Be a champion of Subsplash, its people and products and maintain a positive, professional image to Subsplashers and candidates
  • Screen candidates for relevant skills and experience, and present high caliber candidates to the hiring team.
  • Proactively follow up with candidates and hiring managers; and respond quickly to hiring manager requests to provide a quality recruitment experience filled with relational warmth.
  • Own and optimize our various talent acquisition software and leverage for gathering interview feedback, reporting and encouraging data driven hiring decisions.
  • Drive creative sourcing techniques (direct, referrals, user groups, innovative niche tools) to help deepen both passive and active candidate pools.
  • Develop and maintain a talent pipeline for future recruiting needs.
  • Work with the Marketing Team to create engaging campaign content and position Subsplash as an employer of choice in a competitive marketplace
  • Passionately represent Talent Brand at external events and conferences
  • Manage social media and other recruiting technologies and tools to connect with a broad and diverse talent network
  • Manages the day-to-day effectiveness of LinkedIn, Built-In, Glassdoor, etc. to ensure talent attraction content is maintained, and work with Marketing to manage updates on our career site
  • Craft compelling and authentic content ranging from videos to social media/blog posts and writing copy to tell the Subsplash story
  • Come up with new and creative ways to delight candidates throughout the recruiting process.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years recruitment experience, preferably in-house at a technology/SaaS company
  • 3+ years managing and mentoring a team
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business or related field
  • ATS Administration (Greenhouse Preferred)
  • Solid sourcing experience and a vision for creative pipeline management
  • Experience scaling the TA function to support a high-growth organization
  • Experience creating delightful experiences for others 
  • Experience effectively communicating and reporting on KPIs to key stakeholders and senior management 
  • Experience managing sourcing tools and applicant tracking systems to identify and engage passive, qualified candidates and manage them through the hiring process
  • Experience identifying and implementing recruiting softwares and technology at a team and organization-wide-level
  • Successful track record in implementing recruiting strategies in a growing organization
  • Highly effective oral and written communication skills, including strong facilitation skills
  • Experience managing vendor relationships–contracts, invoices, negotiations, renewals, etc.
