Blue Nile is seeking an experienced Sr. Human Resources Business Partner who is excited about applying their knowledge of best practices across HR functional areas.  The right candidate will have a positive attitude, thrive on making an impact, will be an exceptional business partner to Company leaders and provide exceptional customer services to all level of employees.  The ideal candidate will have experience in talent management, organizational effectiveness or learning and development.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with the VP, HR and HR team to initiate and drive HR programs & initiatives throughout Blue Nile based on industry best practices
• Provide guidance in managing and developing talent, managing performance and handling employee relations issues and concerns influencing optimal outcomes
• Become a talent expert, with a thorough understanding of organizational talent and the talent required to support organizational goals, objectives and growth initiatives.
• Partner with functional leaders to asses talent, identify developmental needs and develop and deliver programs to build the Blue Nile talent base
• Lead Blue Nile’s internship, apprentice and early hiring programs
• Remain current on all employment laws and ensure compliance with applicable HR laws and regulations
• Serve as a point of contact and resource for employees and management on HR policies, programs and processes to answer questions and resolve problems
• In collaboration with the Executive Leadership Team, the VP HR and HR partners, lead Blue Nile culture development efforts, including hosting Culture Team Meetings, planning events and other related initiatives
• Identify, research and present best practices within HR function, to continually enhance HR credibility and performance

 Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years HR generalist experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business or related field preferred
• PHR or SHRM Certification desired
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite
• Strong results orientation and attention to detail
• Comfortable with ambiguity and able to work in a fast paced environment
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and changing priorities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional professionalism and ability to uphold a high level of confidentiality
• Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external contacts
