The Role


TaxBit recently opened a HQ2 in Seattle and is looking for a seasoned recruiter well-versed in both the Seattle market and technical talent. As a Senior Technical Recruiter, you’ll lead TaxBit’s recruiting efforts in Seattle with the goal of sourcing, attracting, and recruiting diverse talent while delivering a seamless candidate experience. You’ll primarily focus on recruitment for engineering roles, but may also provide expertise in product and other technical areas. You’ll have an outsized impact as you help build out an amazing office for one of the hottest FinTech startups in the US!


Key Responsibilities


  • Serve as the technical recruiting lead for TaxBit’s Seattle HQ2
  • Deliver an amazing end-to-end candidate experience from initial outreach to interviewing, hiring and onboarding
  • Source, recruit, interview, and hire top talent from the Seattle area and beyond
  • Help recruit a diverse set of candidates while promoting an equitable and inclusive culture 
  • Build out processes to help improve our recruitment engine’s scalability 
  • Collect data and manage reporting to track progress towards our hiring goals
  • Partner with hiring managers across various departments to develop sourcing strategies for each of your roles
  • Contribute to a great culture and working environment for the Seattle HQ2


Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, including technical recruiting experience 
  • Passion for delivering a differentiated candidate experience paired with strong communication skills 
  • Consistent track record of attracting talent and building high performing teams in Seattle or other high-growth markets
  • Passion and commitment to diversity and inclusion with proven ability to apply industry best practices
  • Ability to operate autonomously 
  • A growth mindset and ability to shift priorities as hiring needs continue to evolve
  • Creative problem-solving and strategic thinking skills
  • Ability to leverage a range of sourcing tools and techniques to identify passive candidates including, but not limited to, LinkedIn Recruiter 
  • Experience leveraging and managing an ATS; Greenhouse is preferred 


Desired Skills

  • Prior startup experience outside of a major tech company
  • Experience with new candidate onboarding, team culture development and/or building an office from scratch
