About the Role

The Talent Management Director is responsible for innovative global talent management/core talent programs, which include establishing and introducing modern performance and talent management frameworks, rhythms, and programs that inspire and empower people to do their best work in a fast-paced, high-growth, global environment and align to our business strategy. The Director will report to the Head of People and Organizational Development (POD) Center of Excellence and will partner across the People team to ensure integrated Talent Management with alignment across DEI&B, Compensation & Benefits, and the global HRBP team. 

What You'll Do

  • Define, develop and implement a comprehensive and modern Talent Management philosophy and strategy that supports the business strategy, starting with the annual Performance Management process
  • Partner with members of the People Team and key business leaders to design and implement an annual Performance Management rhythm that supports the organization's strategic goals, our differentiated inclusive culture, and fast-growing global expansion
  • Cultivate key in-business stakeholders as sponsors for the work
  • Identify an effective implementation plan to ensure successful adoption of the process and a broad understanding of the “why”
  • Identify critical skills needed for leaders and managers for program success and scale
  • Determine OKRs to evaluate the impact and success of the programs, and adapt as needed
  • Over time responsibilities will include additional elements of integrated Talent Management: workforce planning, succession planning, talent reviews, career pathing, etc.

Your Background

  • Gravitas, and the ability to partner with a variety of stakeholders to enable a consistent, authentic, fair, and equitable approach to business and internal priorities
  • Demonstrated experience designing, building, and leading measurable and scalable Talent Management programs and initiatives at a high-growth, complex, global organization
  • Systems thinking with demonstrated experience articulating a holistic, strategic vision for Talent Management, translating that vision into an executable strategy, and creating a change management plan that brings people at all levels along for a successful implementation
  • A commitment to creating equitable processes. 
  • Strong program management skills, attention to detail, and a highly organized, process-oriented approach
  • A solid understanding of industry benchmarks, modern practices, and innovation in Talent Management
  • Demonstrated ability to influence, think proactively, and function independently.
  • The ability to collaborate with and support individuals at all levels of the organization
  • The ability to break down complex organizational challenges into concrete solutions
  • Extensive experience gathering and reporting Talent Management data to multiple stakeholders, and analyzing that data in order to develop insights, drive decisions and measure the impact on programs
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple projects and tasks
  • Experience in a high growth, fast-paced, technology-focused environment is strongly preferred

Our HQ is located within walking distance of Pike Place Market and the Seattle Piers. With amazing 360 views of the Puget Sound and Downtown Seattle. The only downside, there are almost too many places to pick for your lunch meetings.
