Icertis is looking for a Corporate Communications Intern to support the global team. The ideal candidate will be someone passionate about public relations who is a self-starter, can handle multiple projects at once, and wants to have a hand in many facets at a hot tech startup. The intern will be an integral part of the team, owning projects involving media relations, executive visibility, internal comms, and social media. They will also work with the rest of the marketing team as needed on various projects. This is a paid internship position where you get to learn the ins and outs of global marketing for a rapidly growing SaaS company.

What You Will Do:

  • Develop content for social media channels – LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube.
  • Analyze performance of social media content and make data-driven recommendations to improve engagement.
  • Identify key social media influencers to be updated on Icertis products and activities.
  • Maintain editorial calendar for social media, awards, and speaking opportunities for Icertis executives.
  • Monitor and analyze media coverage to identify key themes, impacts, and influencers.
  • Maintain a database of media coverage relevant to Icertis and competitors.
  • Mine for and create a database of customer evidence.
  • Participate in strategic planning for upcoming campaigns.

What You Will Bring

  • An interest in B2B tech and public relations, with the ability to keep up with fast-moving company and changing priorities
  • A team player mentality with creative ideas and open to learning new things
  • Excellent communication skills, including writing, proof reading, and speaking
  • Top notch organization skills, detail-oriented, and experience with project management
  • Social media skills with working knowledge of the Adobe Suite (video editing skills are a plus) and brings innovative ideas for new social media content
  • Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects and own projects from start to finish with little guidance
  • Strong analytical skills with understanding of media market
  • Applicants must be currently enrolled in a program through an accredited University working towards Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in related area with GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Work duration: 40 hours per week during summer that runs May/June 2021 through August/September 2021.
