Job Description
A day in the life…
Finance and Accounting Majors:
- Partner with Finance and Accounting teams to help create key financial reports for Executive team
- Work with Finance Business Partners to help track headcount, perform budget vs. actuals variance analysis, and other ad-hoc projects
Business Intelligence/Business Systems Majors:
- Partner with FP&A and BI teams to build Finance Data Market
- Support integration of ERP and BI Tool (Adaptive to Qlik Sense and Intacct to Adaptive) to create real-time link between key financial and BI systems
- Partner with Finance and business leaders to build custom BI Dashboards to track KPIs for each organization within Accolade
Qualifications
- Student pursuing their Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Intelligence, or Business Systems
- Superior problem solving and analytical skills
- Sense of urgency and ability to work in a fast-paced, innovative, and collaborative environment
- Team player who is able to build strong relationships and is able to effectively partner with others throughout the business to achieve results
- Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills a must
Finance and Accounting Majors:
- Comfortable with Key Financial Statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flows) and understand their interdependencies
- Proficient Excel Skills
Business Intelligence/Business Systems Majors:
- Comfortable with working with BI/Dashboarding tools, such as Qlik Sense, Tableau, Power BI
- Comfortable with data structure basics, such as Primary Keys, Foreign Keys, etc.
- Python or SQL skills a plus
- Knowledge of JSON a plus
