As the Human Resources Intern you will work with a team of Human Resource professionals of various backgrounds to assist in the development and execution of programs designed to engage and retain employees. Our Human Resources team creates programs and processes to aid the company's growth internationally through integration of technologies, cultures, and people. As Smartsheet expands, our team is also responsible for ensuring information, assistance, and a positive experience is available and accessible to all employees; which we often do through creative organization and presentation of programs, meetings, and reference materials. The intern would work side-by-side with Human Resource staff to achieve these items and more!


Requirements:

- Interest in HR and the positive impact the department has in a company

- Desire to take on projects which require creative problem solving and develop interesting solutions

- People-oriented with a customer service mindset (previous experience in customer service is a plus)

- Advanced proficiency for learning new technologies

- Ability to behave professionally and act with discretion and confidentiality with regard to private and personal data (including salary, birthdates/age, family and immigration status, home address, etc)

- Strong verbal and written communication skills
