About the Role
Highspot is seeking a tenacious and meticulous digital marketing intern to join the demand generation team and build Highspot’s authority and visibility across the web via link building and offsite SEO efforts. An experienced writer, you’ll use your way with words to pitch articles, craft content, and promote Highspot within relevant marketing and sales publications. You’re a quick learner that can shift voice and tone with ease and confidently create content that explains sales enablement best practices and expresses Highspot’s unique thought leadership.
What You'll Do
- Identify high-impact link building and offsite SEO projects to drive interest in sales enablement and awareness of Highspot
- Independently research potential sales- and marketing-related article topics
- Proactively reach out to target publications with ideas for articles, improvements to existing content, Highspot updates, and other collaborative projects.
- Develop relationships with writers, journalists, and site owners in the sales enablement space
- Craft compelling articles about key sales enablement topics, matching style to target publication and audience
- Seek opportunities to leverage blog and partner marketing projects for additional link building and offsite SEO gains
- Support the Senior Digital Marketing Manager (SEO manager) when needed to build out webpages, update and create email campaigns, and pull data for reporting
Your Background
- Exceptional communication skills — written, verbal, interpersonal, presentation
- Experience writing about sales and marketing, with published clips from a variety of publications
- Organizational skills and high attention to detail to effectively manage the outreach process
- Nice to haves: Understanding of SEO and link building; experience working with WordPress and Marketo
