About the Role:

Are you a great communicator who loves finding answers to complex questions? Are you looking for a role where you can make an impact and develop new processes? If so, we have the perfect internship for you.

We are looking for a Research Intern to help our primary research team collect data on how funds are performing in the private market and develop new outreach processes. Through this experience, you will also get an opportunity to learn about the PitchBook Platform and how it is used by private market professionals in the industry to fundraise, create deal flow, and understand market trends.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Organizing and aggregating large amounts of data
  • Managing an email inbox responsible for the collection and verification of fund return data
  • Explore new avenues for acquiring fund performance data on private market investors
  • Leveraging technology-based tools to ensure that proprietary data is added to the PitchBook Platform efficiently and with attention to quality
  • Working with your team to develop and improve processes, tools, and methodologies

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Amazing communication skills, both verbal and in written materials
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • A background or interest in learning about the private equity, venture capital, and M&A industries
  • Fast learning pace and attention to detail
