Your Day

Reporting to the IT Development Manager, the Salesforce Business Systems Intern will work to deliver customizations for our backend SaaS platforms, primarily Salesforce.com. You will work with the our Salesforce Administrators and Product Managers to research, solution, architect, build and support solutions for Sales and Operations teams and make their strategic roadmap vision a reality.

Required Skills / Experiences

  • Student in Business, Data or IT-related degree track
  • Technical knowledge of standard applications in Google G-Suite and Microsoft Office
  • Willingness to learn!
  • Solutions and Processes
    • Interest in implementing solutions for sales go-to-market strategies including forecasting, booking, lead generation and nurturing, territory management, quota management and analytics
    • Interest in implementing solutions for support processes including case management, knowledge base, customer community and analytics
    • Ability to independently research solutions and options
    • Ability to partner with program managers and administrators extensively and other internal development teams as needed
    • High personal accountability for self and others
  • Interpersonal skills:
    • Strong communication and relationship building skills along with the ability to work virtually and independently as required
    • Endless sense of curiosity; deep capacity and drive for exploring outside of your comfort zone
    • Ability to work in a highly fluid, fast-paced and cross-functional environment
    • Ability to jump in where needed to complete projects
    • Model best practice qualities of collaboration and customer service

At the end of your internship, you’ll be familiar with:

  • Agile XP processes and team work
  • Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Community Cloud and Analytics platform, configuration, administration
  • Well on your way to taking your Salesforce.com Administrator certification
  • Data migration and cleansing techniques and processes
  • Pivotal products and go-to-market strategy
