Your role and impact

You will support our dynamic legal team across a variety of tasks, projects and processes. Your work will be critical in supporting the legal needs of a rapidly growing, healthcare technology startup. This is a full-time position, reporting to the Deputy General Counsel.

Responsibilities

  • Manage contracts from intake to finalization, including coordinating review by legal and other teams, drafting of simple amendments and other documents, formatting and processing signatures and filing of pertinent communications and executed contracts
  • Work with and maintain a contract management system, including assisting in designing improvements to such systems
  • Support on tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) of legal and contracts team
  • Support or lead on tracking required trainings, manage and update those trainings in the learning management system and generate reports to monitor training compliance
  • Support legal team in communication with outside parties, set up meetings and manage team calendars
  • Proofread and finalize a variety of documents
  • Perform other general office and project management duties, as needed
  • Act as supporting partner to paralegal
  • Provide technical support for existing tools (G Suite, Microsoft Office, IronClad) to paralegals and attorneys working on contracts

Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience in a corporate legal department, law firm or similar legal environment required
  • Knowledge of legal principles related to contracts required
  • Ability to track large quantities of data using G Suite and related tools
  • Proficiency with implementing processes and administering project management tooling resources preferred
  • Ability to work with both in-house and outside counsel
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changing business priorities and requirements
  • Advanced proficiency in personal computer and cloud applications—G Suite, Microsoft Office, MacOS and DocuSign experience preferred
