The Channel Marketing Manager will drive the strategy, execution and measurement of channel marketing plans and initiatives that effectively increase affinity for and registrations of Donuts top-level domain products. This person is self-motivated with advanced content and performance marketing skills across channels and platforms, and uses data effectively to hone channel marketing program performance measurement and optimization. The role requires a proactive thinker that takes the initiative to come up with unique and creative marketing solutions. As a partner to the channel management team, this individual focuses on creating measurable and meaningful campaigns that help drive the business and registrar partnerships forward.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate: You will be an effective and skillful partner with the Marketing, Sales and Business Insights team. You will manage internal team collaboration to ensure consistent messaging and experience
- Plan: Provide performance marketing programs across a variety of platforms and partners
- Execute: Ideate new, out-of-the-box co-marketing and content programs that increase presence with strategic partners and drive sales
- Strategy: Create and own strategic planning and content development/collaboration with a focus on driving measurable channel value
- Quantitative: Analyze competitive marketing programs to identify new and innovative opportunities to differentiate products/services. Price testing, analysis and optimization for the product line
- Staying ‘Current’: Keep up-to-date on and apply new digital marketing strategies
- Influencer and Communicator: Present to and engage cross-functional teams on devising out-of-the-box marketing solutions that will bring effective results
Education
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Marketing, Advertising or equivalent work experience
Required Experience
- 5+ years of proven results-oriented experience with 1) a blend of B2B (preferably) and B2C marketing campaigns and programs, 2) experience with channel programs including MDF, co-op, and rebate programs, and 3) a track record in campaign expansion, budget and performance management
- Strong quantitative, data analysis experience working with marketing analytics tools including Tableau, HubSpot, Google Analytics, among others. You will use this data for storytelling, decision making and influencing the achievement of strategic sales goals
- Successful relationship building and management of busy cross-functional internal teams as well as external business, media, analytics partners and vendors.
- Bring a strong team player attitude with strong collaboration and communication skills and pivot to work independently as necessary
