We provide strategic advisory and business planning, pricing strategy, marketing, content creation and optimization, catalog management, inventory management, and reporting data and software for our diverse set of clients.

We’re an entrepreneurial organization that is growing fast and looking for a Communications Manager to join our team!

In this role, you will be responsible for building and owning our internal and external corporate communication and earned media presence. Together with leadership, you will work on our marketing strategy, brand messaging and marketing content. Writing is not just a strength, it’s a passion! Through cross-team collaboration, you will create content marketing across Ideoclick’s sales decks, social media channels, company blog, weekly newsletter and e-mail marketing.

At Ideoclick, we work as a distributed team. While we maintain a corporate presence in Seattle, WA; our employees have the flexibility to work from the location they choose, and we are open to this role living/working anywhere in the US.

What you’ll do:

  • Own Ideoclick’s editorial, content, marketing, and event calendar
  • Develop and execute effective, long-term communications strategies and public relations initiatives for the company, including managing PR strategy and activities for Ideoclick’s growing network of service partners
  • Write and edit press releases, pitches, PR plans and related materials
  • Build and manage relationships with technology trade and business press
  • Support communications strategy focused on expanding our brand recognition through industry trade organizations and business news
  • Partner with Senior Director to maximize success with our PR agency
  • Source, write and edit internal and external communications – ensuring successful distribution to internal stakeholders and relevant external audiences
  • Develop communication, content, and event strategies including sourcing, managing and approving speaking opportunities for key members of our Leadership Team
  • Manage webinars, content creation, videos and digital production activities
  • Develop the social media engagement strategy
  • Be up to the minute on eCommerce industry news, trends, content, events, and social listening, etc. and convert this into relevant marketing opportunities for product, marketing, thought leadership and lead generation
  • Analyze and present key communications metrics to internal team

What you’ve done:

  • Spent 5-7 years in public relations, communications, content marketing, or social media engagement, ideally at a PR, software, SaaS, or B2B eCommerce services company
  • Gained experience in media outreach, media relations, social media engagement or market research
  • Worked on podcasts/webinar production – ideal, not required
  • Built strong relationships with industry and business partners
  • Worked in a fast-paced, high-growth startup like environment
  • Effectively communicated and presented to a variety of audiences at all levels, including executive teams – both business and technical
  • Generated innovative marketing ideas that have made a proven impact
  • Influenced a cross-functional team of stakeholders to drive execution
  • Built and owned an editorial calendar
