Content Strategist
Alo Moves is seeking an innovative Content Strategist with an interest in emerging social and digital media platforms, and a desire to create content worth paying attention to. Our ideal candidate is someone who inherently understands branded content and can craft digital content tailored to social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and any potential new/emerging platforms.
We’re looking for someone who is a strong storyteller (narratively and visually), and understands how to create content that scale brands. You will be tasked with establishing strong relationships with cross-functional teams and continually working to optimize processes. As a Content Strategist, you must be organized, a strong communicator, team player, and have a proven ability to inspire and motivate the team. This position requires the ability to work with minimal direction and the capacity to move quickly while delivering creative that will ensure high-quality results.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage the editorial calendar and align content channels to maximize reach and conversion
- Spearhead multiple projects including brainstorms, creative briefs, success metrics etc.
- Partner with internal teams to develop strategic campaigns for increasing brand awareness
- Establish strong relationships with cross functional teams to manage multiple work-streams with competing priorities
- Dive into data and human behavior across all social platforms to create content that connects people in new, compelling ways
Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of experience with hands on content creation with a great portfolio to back it up
- Experience crafting stories that build brand affinity, drive traffic, and grow revenue
- Work collaboratively in an environment that values creativity and flexibility
- Ability to work effectively, meet deadlines, and switch gears comfortably in a fast-moving startup environment
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience, preferred
- Health, wellness or yoga/fitness background a plus
