Why You Will Make an Impact:


Wyze is looking to hire a marketer who is obsessed with customer experience and loves writing. The Customer Engagement Marketer position will focus on how to create meaningful and engaging interactions with customers as they purchase and use Wyze products. They will use tools such as email, in-app messages, and SMS to encourage Wyze users to try new products and share feedback on the products they already own. Help us map out our customer journeys, increase engagement, and acquire new customers. If this resonates with you, come and be a part of our marketing team!

A Look Inside the Role:

  • Create engaging and fun messages to deliver on our various message channels (email, Wyze app, SMS, etc.) to upsell and cross-sell products and services to Wyze users.
  • Optimize campaigns by using different channels and touch-points to drive engagement at various stages of the user journey, determining the best time, message, and manner to drive engagement and conversions.
  • Research, understand, and map out customer journeys and develop ways to improve them on wyze.com and in the Wyze app.
  • Create engaging customer funnels and workflows inside of Braze that consist of emails, in-app messages, push notifications, SMS, and direct mail elements.
  • Analyze customer data, campaign data, and external research to inform and guide growth strategies and user segments. Communicate campaign performance and insights with leadership.
  • Drive product adoption and usage by developing and managing detailed, short-term, and long-term growth plans.
  • Define and implement marketing strategies to acquire new customers to products and drive ongoing engagement.
  • Consolidate and synthesize market-specific insights and feedback into product design and development.

You Already Have These Qualifications and Love What You Do:

  • Marketing Knowledge: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a similar field. A sound understanding of basic marketing principles such as customer segmentation, value propositions, etc. 
  • Technical Knowledge: In-app marketing, email/lifecycle marketing, upselling/cross-selling. Intermediate knowledge of HTML and CSS to create in-app messages. 
  • Decision Making: A data-driven and analytical mindset, with the ability to create required reports to track campaign performance. Shows complexity in thought when considering resource tradeoffs. Identifies opportunities and ideas to own and bring to fruition. Has strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills to inform decisions.
  • Communication: Ability to convey complicated concepts in a manner that’s easy to understand. Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. This role will own the content creation for our messaging channels, so it’s important to have a strong sense of design and aesthetics in creative writing.
  • Passion: Has a passion for consumer electronics and a love for smart home technology and the ability to have fun and be creative while multi-tasking when things are moving fast.

And Even Better if the Following Applies to You:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a similar field
  • 1-5 years of experience in consumer marketing
  • Familiarity with the Segment.com and Braze customer platforms
  • Advanced knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other development languages
  • SaaS/tech industry experience, with a solid understanding of B2C marketing
  • Is a Wyze product owner
