Your Next Challenge
The SEO Data Analyst analyzes and reports on the SEO channel for Getty Images’ global brands. The SEO Data Analyst will develop and optimize models to answer key business questions. The Data Analyst thrives on data and must have demonstrated experience in identifying data sources, integrating and presenting data, and articulating data-driven recommendations. The ideal candidate collaborates with cross-functional teams, has a love of big data and analytics, and uses data to tell stories and drive impactful change.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide support to the SEO team with regards to data analysis and automating monitoring of key SEO metrics
- Collect data from internal and external data sources, aggregate, analyze, and report on the SEO channel.
- Design the framework and conduct analysis to answer key business questions and to inform strategy and drive improvements to programs and the customer experience.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance reports to track success of demand generation programs; work directly with stakeholders to understand goals and objectives to ensure correct and meaningful data and analysis
- Develop and publish weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports for various audiences – from marketing channel owners to executive dashboards
- Work across organizations to gather feedback and share learnings, across technology, marketing, sales, and merchandising
- Maintain and update ETL routines written in Python (or other programming language)
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Math, Economics, Business, Computer Science or related field
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar analytical or business intelligence role
- Experience writing SQL queries with a preference for using SQL Server, Hive, and Snowflake
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Google Data Studio or Looker
- Experience using Excel for delivering reports and analysis
- Intermediate Python experience (or a similar programming language) for writing ETL routines to store data from 3rd party APIs into databases, for automating processes, and for creating alerting systems
- Experience using Google Analytics, Google APIs, and Splunk is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills used to create meaningful business reports and tell a story through analysis
- Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams and working in a globally distributed environment
- Ability to be nimble and adjust priorities to meet changing team and organizational objectives
- Independently prioritize and manage multiple projects, quantify and prioritize business impact of projects; proactively identify and resolve obstacles
