About the Role:
PitchBook Data is looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist to generate brand awareness, web traffic and conversions via digital marketing channels. This individual will manage paid search and display advertising accounts and will coordinate with external vendors on execution. They will drive scale into existing paid advertising channels and are always looking for new opportunities. The Digital Marketing Specialist will focus on acquisition and lead generation and will use digital channels to direct users through the stages of the marketing and sales funnel. This individual will work closely with the campaigns and content team to test strategy, messaging and design and they will constantly refine best practices for each audience and channel. They will coordinate with channel owners and individual contributors across marketing and editorial teams to execute campaigns as well as communicate our initiatives and provide any necessary resources to sales teams.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Manage digital marketing channels including paid search and display. Analyze keywords, web traffic, and market trends to make data based, strategic decisions.
- Collaborate with advertising agencies on tactical optimization, audience segmentation, and testing plans.
- Work cross functionally with Product Marketing, Campaigns and Content team to produce content driven campaigns to optimize conversion and engagement across all digital acquisition channels.
- Test and optimize paid search ads and landing pages, and display asset creative and messaging.
- Create quarterly marketing campaigns to achieve lead forecasts by channel
- Measure, report, and analyze the performance of digital marketing campaigns across channels and campaigns, and assess against lead/demo/revenue goals.
- Stay relevant on new ad products, latest methodologies, and technology advancements, understanding how to translate them to deliver on business goals.
- Support other marketing campaigns and initiatives, as needed.
- Actively track metrics and KPIs to optimize campaigns as needed.
- Brainstorm new ways to reach our core markets and segments.
Skills and Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree or higher
- 1- 3 years of working experience; 1 years in a similar role (B2B experience a plus)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with digital marketing channels (e.g. email, website, social media, display, and SEO) and with using web and marketing metrics to evaluate content and drive decisions
- Demonstrated success growing digital channels & operating within a large digital budget
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and effectively communicate with key stakeholders
- Experience setting up conversion tracking and proficient in all aspects of Tag Manager, Analytics goals
- Both creative and willing to test and learn, but also able to understand priorities, adhere to process and pay attention to data
- Extremely detail oriented by nature (you double and triple check things not because you have to, but because you want to)
- Self-motivated and driven, but not afraid to ask questions, seek help or get others' input
- Curious, openminded and a critical thinker
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, within a high-growth company
