Role Overview

Are you a data-driven inbound marketer looking to play a key role in a fast-paced and dynamic team? Then we would love you to consider joining the Shiftboard team as the Digital Marketing Specialist.

The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for increasing and optimizing Shiftboard’s digital footprint, deepening engagement with target audiences and driving inbound demand for Shiftboard. If you are a skilled marketer with the gift of SEO and enjoy both the strategizing and the doing, please apply. This position will report to the Director of Demand Generation. 

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Oversee Shiftboard’s website, optimizing its impact based on compelling content, SEO best practices, conversion metrics, and continual A/B testing
  • Manage set-up, publishing, and optimization of ads (paid social, paid search, GDN, remarketing, trade) to meet business goals
  • Project manage and create compelling digital content for use across the website, social, blog, advertising, and various nurture streams
  • Contribute to and influence Shiftboard’s content marketing efforts to support the growth of the inbound channel
  • Identify trends and insights to grow and optimize conversion performance across digital channels
  • Define, track, measure, and report on digital marketing KPIs
  • Work collaboratively to oversee the planning and timely execution of demand generation campaigns leveraging marketing automation (HubSpot) and other resources
  • Oversee assigned advertising budget, managing allocation to produce optimal results
  • Develop necessary knowledge of Shiftboard’s products, positioning, and market space in order to create interesting and relevant content
  • Leverage a broad range of marketing technologies including Hubspot, Salesforce, Wordpress, Google Analytics, Google Adwords

Qualifications

  • A degree in marketing, communications or related field
  • 1-3 years of professional experience in a digital marketing role
  • Demonstrated ability to create and optimize a diverse range of digital content
  • Results oriented with a metric mindset, a can-do attitude, and an eye for detail
  • Extremely comfortable in a fast growth start-up environment
  • Experience in B2B SaaS marketing a big plus
