With your industry-developed skills in digital advertising, you will help take one of our emerging brands to the next level. We've worked hard to create a large collection of owned & operated websites, driving traffic to and from our partner websites and creating engaging content and social communities. We now have the opportunity to invest heavily in one of these sites in particular, with the goal of building a new business line, and you will play a key role in executing the advertising strategy.

This is a new opportunity to build an advertising business line from the ground up, while enjoying the support and resources of an established industry-leading digital media powerhouse.

The Role You Will Have

• Establish current performance baselines and KPIs to begin developing a strategy for advertising growth through Google search and display, and eventually other channels such as social & native
• Design initial campaigns and tests to determine strongest growth avenues, and begin launching and optimizing successful campaigns
• Work directly with a product owner to drive traffic and advertising development, while collaborating with content, engineering, and data teams to accurately triage and target ad sets 
• Provide performance reporting and optimization to product owner and work together to revise strategy where applicable 
• Own the entire book of business within display for an emerging owned & operated Internet property, across all appropriate verticals

What You Will Bring

• 2-3 years experience managing Google search and display campaigns
• Proficiency with data analysis tools such as Google Analytics, Tableau, and/or Excel
• Expereince with additional networks such as Outbrain, Tabools, Facebook, SEM, etc. is a plus
• A business-oriented mindset, with focus on campaign profitability
• An independent work ethic, and an internal drive to answer the "Why?"
• A comfort with trial & error, experimentation, and both failure & success
