Private Division publishes the physical retail edition of Hades from Supergiant Games on PlayStation® and Xbox consoles. Private Division continues to build its internal studio capacity, with Roll7 and Intercept Games as internal developers for the Label. Private Division has offices in New York City, Seattle, Las Vegas, Munich, and Singapore.
The Challenge
We're looking for a Director of Marketing to be part of our marketing and communications team, which is entering a new phase of growth. The Director of Marketing will lead the strategic development and go to market executions of our development partners' games. We are seeking an experienced marketing member with demonstrable experience across team management, GTM strategic planning and executions, and performance marketing.
What You'll Take On

  • Partner with the marketing leads to define product positioning and develop strategic marketing plans for our label video games.
  • Supervise the go-to-market executions in our marketing announcements, milestones, launches, and post-launch activities.
  • Lead and inspire a team of passionate core marketing leads and support, media and data analysts, and marketing production.
  • Find opportunities to streamline cross-functional workflow between marketing creative production, core marketing, and international teams by establishing and improving processes.
  • Expand the label's integration of marketing analytics, media optimization, and CRM with a focus on taking on our performance marketing initiatives to the next phase.
  • Work closely with the marketing leads, media teams, and communications teams on the development, tracking, and optimization of product marketing budgets.
  • Collaborate with the production and development teams on the development of marketing materials, timelines, and milestones.
  • Define product and campaign KPIs for multiple marketing milestones, monitoring, adapting, and optimizing initiatives as needed.
  • Contribute to and foster a company culture based on transparency, collaboration, and supporting one another.
  • Travel, both domestic and international, is required.


What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent coupled with a minimum of 8 years' experience and demonstrated career progression in marketing at a video game publisher, entertainment, technology, or consumer products.
  • Experience in developing and being responsible for strategic marketing plans, bringing them to market with data-driven campaign executions.
  • Proven track record to provide supportive and clear direction and feedback to team members and external parties.
  • Direct experience or collaborations in performance marketing, brand and product marketing, communications, influencer/content creator marketing, creative development, strategic marketing research and planning, and go-to-market strategy and executions.
  • Experience managing, coaching, and developing successful and dynamic teams.

The pay range for this position in Washington at the start of employment is expected to be between $161,000 and $198,800 per year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards and eligibility to participate in our 401(K) plan, in addition to a full range of medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees will also receive 14 paid holidays per calendar year, are eligible to earn a minimum of 15 days of vacation leave per year (subject to proration based on start date during the calendar year) and will receive 10 sick days per calendar year. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
