As Outreach continues to grow to serve a broader set of customers, partners, and markets around the world, it is seeking a Director of PR and Analyst Relations to help drive our strategy and execution with press, analysts and influencers.  


The Role

Outreach is seeking a Director of PR & Analyst Relations with a proven track record for leading strategy and execution of PR and Analyst Relations efforts in a high-growth SaaS company. This role will help shape the company’s future narrative as Outreach redefines the Sales Engagement category and the modern sales tech stack and will lead our engagement efforts via key communications channels.


You will be responsible for shaping our cross-company PR and Analyst Relations strategy and leading execution of that strategy across a set of executive stakeholders and teams, including sales, marketing, and product. You will establish segment-specific plans to drive awareness and understanding of Outreach’s differentiated position and our vision for the future of sales and sales technology. You will help lead delivery of Outreach’s narrative through broad media channels as well as through our engagement with industry thought leaders and influencers.


Location: Seattle, WA or SF Bay Area

Your Daily Adventures Will Include

  • Leading the ongoing cross-company PR and analyst relations functions to drive awareness and convey our vision leveraging high-impact communications and influencer channels.
  • Developing and delivering segment-specific, tiered PR strategy that supports Outreach’s broader go-to-market efforts and drives awareness and understanding of our differentiated value proposition.
  • Developing and leading our analyst relations efforts including mapping key analysts & influencers and driving ongoing engagement and thoughtful, two-way dialogue with those stakeholders.
  • Influencing all levels of leadership ranging from analysts to C-Level executives.
  • Developing a proficiency on Outreach and key competitor product capabilities, and sales process best practices.
  • Demonstrating a strong ability to lead cross-functional teams to drive business and product results that measurably deliver company impact.

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience working in in PR and analyst relations in the technology industry, either on the client side or with a top agency
  • Proficient understanding of SaaS technology, vernacular and landscape
  • Expertise in B2B PR and analyst relations with the ability to rapidly gain an in-depth knowledge of the Outreach product and sales engagement industry and competitors
  • Enthusiastic willingness to roll-up-your-sleeves and do whatever it takes
  • Strong attention to detail, highly entrepreneurial, creative, open-minded, persistent, and highly collaborative
  • Outstanding organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and consistently deliver on key milestones
  • Exceptional ability to drive key business objectives with data-driven, fact-based insights that lead to well-informed strategic plans, quick decision making and impactful outcomes
  • History of improving processes, methodologies, programs and/or frameworks that improved company impact, customer experiences, and/or cross-team performance
  • Creates a work environment that celebrates, encourages, and stands up for diversity & inclusion
  • Bachelor's degree; MBA a plus
