We’re looking for an email marketer to drive engagement with prospects and customers via growing email lists. Keys to succeeding in this role are the ability to create, manage, and analyze daily email campaigns and the capacity to use results to optimize and scale trends. 

This role is responsible for the creation, implementation, measurement, and reporting of ongoing campaigns throughout the customer cycle. This work includes initial outreach and nurture as well as customer engagement. An effective candidate will have a demonstrated track record of working closely across functions, excellent written communication skills, and the ability to communicate with executive stakeholders. 

Reports to: Marketing Director

As an Email Marketing Specialist at Tango Card, you'll:

• Create and manage the ongoing acquisition and nurture campaigns for ideal customer profiles and reward use cases.
• Create and manage several customer newsletters and scheduled customer communications.
• Serve as the liaison for coordinating and executing ad-hoc customer messages. 
• Build campaigns, test messaging, and optimize channels to hit internal goals. 
• Execute ongoing testing regimen—including subject lines, layout, format, frequency, and more—to continuously improve email performance focused on user engagement.
• Support manager in gathering performance data and reporting on post-campaign results. 
• Work cross-functionally with sales, customer success, support, other marketers, and business intelligence (BI). 

Our Email Marketing Specialist will have most of the following skills and experience:

• BA or BS in marketing or related field
• 2+ years of high-tech B2B email marketing, campaign marketing, demand gen, and/or field marketing experience
• Experience working cross-functionally with different teams (for example: sales, customer success, support, or BI)
• Analytical mindset with the ability to track and report on campaign performance metrics
• Experience with modern marketing technology and email stacks. We currently operate on HubSpot, Salesforce, and Salesforce High-Velocity Sales 
• Openness to help look for a third-party email solution
• Excellent communication and project management skills
• Enterprise software and/or SaaS experience strongly preferred
