Igneous is seeking an experienced tradeshow & Event Marketing Manager to national and regional partner events in North America. Some of the shows supported by this role include AWS Re-Invent, Microsoft Insights, BIO IT World, VMworld, Gartner Symposium, and other smaller events aligned to alliance and channel partners. Daily responsibility will include working closely with the VP of marketing and VP of channels and alliances to identify goals, content, and promotions, manage budgets and coordinate all logistics. This role requires exceptional project management skills to manage pre-event reviews, communication, event execution, post-event follow-up to optimize lead generation opportunities and determining event ROI, and ensuring all stakeholders are working together to deliver a high-quality event.

Job Objectives

  • Promoting conferences, field events and trade shows to potential customers
  • Execute national and regional field events for Igneous across North America
  • Provide program management and cross functional team management
  • Build holistic event strategies that include speaking engagements, booth management, sales meetings, press/analyst meetings and co-events alliance and channel partners
  • Coordinating services for tradeshows and events conference facilities, catering, signage, displays, audio-visual equipment, accommodation, transport and social events, for participants
  • Coordinating audience generation with Igneous sales and marketing, alliances and channel partners for target events
  • Negotiating the type and costs of services to be provided within budget

  • Strong program management and budget management experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communications
  • Comfortable presenting to sales, industry partners and executive teams
  • Experience in digital lead management systems and SFDC
  • Strong social media and on-site promotional programs
  • Ability to manage complex programs across cross-functional teams
  • Creative on-the-fly problem solving

Ideal background

  • 5-10 years of trade show and event management experience
  • Managed trade shows and events for major industry shows (up to 25,000 attendees)
  • Strong digital marketing systems understanding and experience
  • Management of event social media and on-site promotions
  • Ability to execute quarterly and yearly planning of up to 100 events activities
