About the Role:

We are looking for a Group Marketing Manager, Paid Digital Marketing to develop, implement, track and optimize our digital marketing campaigns across all paid media channels. This role will also coach, mentor and help grow our digital marketing professional's career paths!
If you have experience managing digital marketing employees, have a strong grasp of current marketing tools and strategies, as well as the ability to lead integrated paid media campaigns from concept to execution, then we hope that you further consider this opportunity! You are a creative, collaborative and self-motivated B2B marketer who is eager to drive awareness and generate leads for PitchBook. You will be successful in this role if you can not only lead budget conversations with our leadership team but also have no issues rolling up your sleeves to execute on the little things. You, along with the Digital Marketing Managers, will be responsible for building and optimizing paid campaign strategy, landing page/digital asset enhancement, A/B testing, streamlining/simplifying digital workflows and forecasting and reporting on all campaign performance.
The Marketing team at PitchBook is critical to fueling the company's growth by utilizing a variety of strategies to support our Sales and Customer Success departments grow and retain our client base. The Marketing department is responsible for all demand generation efforts by executing engaging campaigns, effective product marketing strategies and attending client and trade-show events. The Marketing team is also responsible for promoting the PitchBook brand and managing internal communications.
Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Coach/mentor/teach/grow our current team of Digital Marketing Managers
  • Manage day-to-day and develop a long-term strategy for SEM, display, paid social, retargeting, content syndication and assist with ABM focused campaigns
  • Lead experimentation and optimization planning and execution across paid media channels and campaigns
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing operations, product marketing and creative teams to refine messaging across ads and landing pages
  • Maintain and refine ownership and strategies of the current digital marketing tech stack
  • Expand media mix by researching, onboarding and launching new vendors
  • Manage performance goals, including budget pacing, bidding management, ROAS and lead quality
  • Provide regular and ad-hoc campaign reporting and analysis
  • Drive keyword discovery, competitive research and landing page optimization using industry best practices and platforms such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics and SEMRush
  • Work with internal design and content teams to set the gold standard for compelling online ads and landing pages
  • Share campaign results and report to cross-functional stakeholders and make recommendations on areas for optimization
  • Conduct QTRLY paid QBRs to C-Level stakeholders
  • Support the vision and values of the company through role modeling and encouraging desired behaviors
  • Participate in various company initiatives and projects as requested

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of demand generation and/or customer acquisition for high-growth companies
  • 4+ years working within B2B marketing and familiarity with B2B SaaS metrics
  • A power user across key social and targeted display platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, Adwords and ABM ad platforms like Rollworks
  • Proven success at optimizing and managing SEM/PPC campaigns
  • Strong track record of consistently meeting or exceeding lead goals - while driving increased scale and efficiency over time
  • Ability to use data and metrics to measure campaign and program performance, determine improvements, drive innovations and report results to leadership
  • Strong track record of implementing standards on tracking, optimization, reporting and analytics to maximize lead quality and ROI
  • Experienced with presenting regular and ad-hoc campaign reporting and analysis to senior management
  • Strong aptitude in designing and implementing advanced targeting strategies
  • A strong communicator that can efficiently communicate takeaways and insights to drive improvements to Sr. level stakeholders
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented with an experimentation driven attitude
  • Experience creating and owning successful large scale digital marketing campaigns
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that embraces continuous innovation
